Sheepskin Numnah

Our OZwool Merino Sheepskin half pad numnah is made from 100% Australian sheepskin with a wool pile of approximately 18mm. They are readily available in various fleece colours, including; Ivory, Black, and Chocolate, although we can make in other colours if required. These are quality half pads that can be used with dressage or all-purpose saddles. The contoured style aids in enhancing your saddle fit, along with serving as an exceptional shock absorber.

With a spineless design that allows air to follow easily along the Spine. Natural Sheepskin fibres have an exceptional ability to wick away moisture without feeling damp. The Natural Fibre is also slow to heat up, which makes sheepskin a great temperature-control material. The Ivory coloured half Numnahs are undyed, whilst the darker ones are dyed and may react with some horse sweat. Please take care with lighter coloured equines, if not used in addition to a saddle pad.

Our Half Numnahs are designed to be placed between a horse and its saddle. They shield the horse’s back and give cushioning to make the equine much more comfortable while bearing the weight of the rider and the saddle. They additionally take in sweat and other dampness to secure the saddle and keep your horse feeling dry.
