A beautiful single whole Lambskin rug in a Jet Black colour. A soft warm black colour that changes with the light. This is our best-selling colour sheepskin rugs.
Sheepskin average dimensions are 60cm x 105cm. All our sizes are measured on the hide side, beware of smaller hides being passed off as larger. As some sellers measure the Wool side so the actual skin is 12cm smaller than stated.
Protect this dyed Jet Black sheepskin from direct or harsh sunlight and you will increase lifespan and reduce fading.
All our sheepskins are perfect for a bedroom, on a chair or on the floor. Or drape this sheepskin over a footrest or chair for a textural accent.
Although these rugs are predominantly seen as a luxurious floor covering, they can also be used as a lounge throw, on beds, or draped over any type of chair. They are particularly good in armchairs, as a kids snuggle or reading rug or across the seat of a sofa in the winter.
Your sheepskin is carefully selected and may be tightly packaged for the shipping, so the wool may appear flattened. Wool fibres are very resilient. A quick shake and they will bounce back to their original springy appearance.
A vigorous shake will help restore the soft, fluffy appearance of the wool. Fold marks from packaging will vanish once the skin has been removed from the bag for a few days.

Washing Black Sheepskin
Machine or hand wash your sheepskin in warm water up to (30°C/100°F) using the Woolskin WoolWash. Spin to remove excess water. Then Stretch to help return it to its original shape.
Drying
Dry your Sheepskin flat or on a line. Keep away from any direct sunlight and artificial heat. Take care not to place a Sheepskin on a heater or in front of a fan heater as this may cause damage to the Longwool Sheepskin. Never iron or bleach a Black Lambskin.
Brushing
Sheepskin is a Natural Product, so after washing, the wool will revert back to its natural curly state. You can restore the fluffy appearance by brushing the wool while it is wet and again when it is dry using a dog grooming brush.
